What is Career Development?

Career Development is the ongoing process of managing learning, work, leisure, and transitions in order to move toward a personally determined and evolving preferred future. It is the lifelong psychological and behavioral processes as well as contextual influences shaping one’s career over the life span. As such, career development involves the person’s creation of a career pattern, decision-making style, integration of life roles, values expression, and life-role self concepts

What is the workshop about?

The workshop will increase your knowledge and skills enabling you to build better relationships with your child, and help on setting-up a SMART Career Plan for them. It is delivered by experienced facilitators who will help on creating a new line-of-thinking & atmosphere enabling parents to explore themselves & their own parenting (Since parenting in itself is part of a parent's career plan) , allowing them to take home practical skills to help their children grow and integrate well into society.

SMART Parenting program is a set of workshops series, following-up activities & Assessments, and one-to-one sessions; We are inviting you to attend our first one day workshop on Friday, 23th of December at The Live Theater, Discovery Mall, Al Soor street, Kuwait City to do and learn the following:

SMART Parenting workshop will be conducted by:

Ahmed Mostafa Kamal; International career development advisor and mental health facilitator with the following credentials, International NCDA CDF Master Trainer,GCDF & CDFI,JCDC,JCTC

He is the Assistant Executive Director of the Career Development Network & Director of MENA Operation (San Jose, CA) & he is the CRG Sole Licensed Associate in the MENA region, NCDA Affiliate, & Leader.

Mr. Mostafa is the ONLY accredited career development advisor, who is certified and eligible for conducting & developing Career Development programs in English & Arabic in the MENA region. He is also the ONLY advisor who can teach career counseling/facilitation/coaching programs in English & Arabic and certify the graduate applicants from the following organizations: 1- National Career Development Association (NCDA- USA) 2- Center for Credentialing and Education (CCE- USA) 3- Career Development Network (CDN - USA)
