Tulu Parba 2017

Tulu Koota Kuwait (TKK) is presenting Tulu Parba mega event on Friday, 27th October 2017 from 3.30 pm at American International School, Kamel Al Rayes auditorium Maidan Hawally.

As in the previous years, the committee promotes diversity, brings people together, increases creativity and offers great opportunities through the festival. The Parba will be a fun event for both kids and adults thereby providing a break from the stress of the nuclear family. Rich cultural values will be showcased for the next generation in a colorful way by portraying the talents of the TKK members. Tulu Koota Kuwait celebrates the Tulu Parba with these objectives every year and also to showcase the talents of TKK members.

'Tulunada Tembere' a unique show conceptualized and directed by Suresh Salian, presented by TKK members, showcases the rich cultural heritage of Tulunadu to fill every Tuluva with pride. 

The main attraction of the day will be the Tulu drama 'Poppa' by the 'Ranga Taranga' group led by Samaj Ratna, Leeladhar Shetty from Kaup. A team of 15 well known artistes including Kusalda Birse Sandeep Shetty, Manibettu and Telikeda Arasae Prassana Shetty, Bailore will be visiting the city to present a super hit drama 'Poppa' directed by Sharath Uchila and written by Shyam Kumar Chitrapura.

Tulu Koota Kuwait invites everyone for the Tulu Parba 2017 mega event and to be part of it.

As per tradition, scholarships to the needy and merit certificates for academic excellence in 10th and 12th std to deserving children of Tulu Koota Kuwait will be awarded. The awards will be handed out during the Tulu Parba 2017 felicitation programme. students with outstanding performance will be recognised, appreciated and encouraged for further studies.

All eligible members are required to submit a written scholarship/merit certificate application for their children studying either in the state of Kuwait or in India along with copies of their marks sheets for the academic year 2016-2017 at the earliest. No application will be accepted after September 30.
