Hello everyone, I've been closely following the developments regarding the suspension of family vis Read More... as in Kuwait, and there have been ongoing discussions about potentially reopening them in January 2024. As many of you might be aware, the Ministry of Interior is reportedly considering introducing Article 22 visas for family members or dependents, specifically targeting select expatriate groups, including professionals such as doctors, university professors, and counselors. However, the exact criteria for eligibility have not been disclosed yet, and it's understood that a committee will soon be formed to determine these criteria. Additionally, there's talk about raising the salary requirement for obtaining a family visa from KD 500 to KD 800 for expatriates in both the public and private sectors. Given these updates, I'm reaching out to the community for your thoughts and insights: Do you believe that the family visa services will indeed resume in early 2024, or is this just another tentative plan? How likely is it that the new salary requirements and eligibility criteria will affect expatriates wishing to bring their families to Kuwait? For those who might be directly impacted by these changes, what are your plans or concerns? Any information, personal experiences, or opinions would be greatly appreciated. This is a topic of significant importance to many expatriates living in Kuwait, and staying informed is crucial for future planning. Thank you all in advance for your contributions!
