10-year-old Boy Suffered Third-degree Burns After A Classmate Threw A Molotov Cocktail At Him

In an incident that alarms the violence among children, a 10-year-old boy suffered third-degree burns and was rushed to the Al-Babtain Hospital for Burns after a classmate threw a Molotov cocktail at him (a bottle filled with gasoline), reports Al-Rai daily.

The tragic incident happened in the Saad al-Abdullah. The father of the victim has filed a complaint against the 9-year-old suspect accusing him of deliberately causing harm to his son which almost took his life.

According to the father’s statement, his son was first taken to the Al-Jahra Hospital by paramedics and after examining him, he was transferred to the Al-Babtain Hospital for Burns. According to a security source, a juvenile case has been filed and the accused child has been taken into custody. He was produced before the Juvenile Prosecution to hear his testimony.
