100 Kd Increase In Residence Fees

According to the Arab Times, Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor are planning to increase the residence fees for expats in Kuwait by 100 Kuwaiti Dinars but it is also mentioned that most probably that fees would be on employer not employee. Well, so far it is under study. As per Al Siyasa Newspaper, 100 KD are actually are fees of 10 different services of 10 KD each.

In 2008 Abdullah al Roumi (Parliament Member) was about to draft a low to finished the Sponsorship System in Kuwait. According to him every foreigner should be directly under the govt which will control the human trafficking and will be better for foreigners to take care of rights.
