119,000 People Expected To Travel Abroad For New Year Celebrations

Deputy Director for Aviation Safety and Air Transportation at the Directorate General for Civil Aviation Imad Al-Jalawi indicated that 119,000 individuals are expected to travel during the period between Dec 28 and Jan 1 to spend the New Year holiday outside Kuwait.

He explained that there will be ten additional flights during this period to transport about 2,066 passengers.

The flights are already scheduled within the designed time schedule. He revealed that the preferred destinations are Dubai, Cairo, Turkey, Beirut, Mashhad and London. He urged citizens and expatriates to verify their travel documents in order to avoid delays and to checkin three hours before the take-off of their flight.
