128,116 Travelled Through Airport During Eid Holiday

The number of citizens who departed and arrived during the period from July 17 to July 20 reached 135,816, while the number of Gulf national was 78,132 including 31,353 departures and 46,779 arrivals through Salmy, Abdaly and Nuwaiseeb outlets, according to Interior Ministry statistics.

The number of citizen who arrived through the three outlets for the same period is 30,530, while the number of those who deported was 51,252, the same statistics have shown.

Meanwhile, the number of departures and arrivals at Kuwait International Airport for the same period was 128,116 including 10,423 arrivals and 43,611 who departed Kuwait, Interior Ministry Assistant Undersecretary for Outlets Security Major General Anwar Al-Yaseen said.

He added that cooperation was successful between the Outlets Directorate General and Kuwait International Airport Security, Civil Aviation and Customs to ease entry and exit of passengers as they departed and arrived during the Eid Al-Fitr holiday.
