13 Arab Expats Face Deportation

Kuwaitis who are suspected of terrorist activities overseas are not more than 100, reports Al-Qabas daily quoting reliable sources.

The same sources in the meantime said the security authorities in Kuwait are monitoring the activities of hundreds of other Kuwaitis who are believed to be financing extremist groups or are accused of terrorism in several countries.

The sources pointed out that the last Kuwaiti, identified only as A.H., and was active in terrorist acts was seized three months ago by the Turkish autvhorities and handed over to Kuwait.

The sources revealed about 13 Arab expatriates working for one of the ministries are blacklisted. Their residence permits will not be renewed after the expiry and forced to leave the country because they are allegedly cooperating with suspicious elements and are said to have carried out illegal transactions through the social media.
