13 Citations Were Issued For Illegal Ads

The Department for Audit and Follow-Up of Municipality Services in Mubarak Al-Kabeer Municipality carried out a series of inspection tours in Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate to ensure shops and commercial areas abide by the advertisement rules and regulation, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

Head of the department Dhidan Al-Adwani explained that 13 citations were issued against unlicensed advertisements in various areas of the governorate.

These violations included non-renewal of advertisement licenses, lack of licenses, and non-maintenance of the advertisements. He indicated that his department removed 318 advertisements of various sizes randomly placed on streets and yards, as they tarnish the general scenery and obstruct the view of motorists.
