Ahmadi Governorate Security Command conducted a series of security and traffic campaigns in Ali Sabah Al-Salem. In a press statement, the Public Relations and Security Media Department in the Interior Ministry said Director of Ahmadi Security Command Brigadier Abdullah Saffah supervised the campaigns, as part of the ministry’s strategy to arrest outlaws and ensure public order.

The campaigns led to the impounding of 40 vehicles, issuance of 166 citations for various traffic violations, arrest of 35 people who failed to present valid identification documents and five others wanted by law for absconding. In addition, the department affirmed the continuation of security campaigns throughout the country, while emphasizing the vital role played by citizens and expatriates in boosting security efforts by refraining from providing shelter or covering up anyone who violated the law. It also stressed the need for everyone to carry their identification documents at all times.
