2 Asian Expats Arrested In Salmiya

Two Asian expatriates were arrested in Salmiya area in possession of 70 bottles of locally manufactured liquor, five bottles of imported liquor and two beer cans. According to security sources, Hawally securitymen were patrolling Salmiya area when they stopped a vehicle with two Asian occupants based on suspicions and checked their details to discover one of them was wanted by the Immigration Security Department.

They checked the vehicle and found 70 bottles of locally manufactured liquor, five bottles of imported liquor and two beer cans. The suspects were arrested and referred with the confiscated liquor to the General Department for Drug Control for necessary legal action.
