Indian And Bangladeshi Suspected Of Coronavirus Transferred To Jaber Hospital

Two cases of suspected Coronavirus have been transferred to Jaber Hospital in the past two days. Al Rai reported that the two cases were of a Bangladeshi and an Indian national from Shuwaikh Industrial Area.

Kuwait municipality has been asking shops and industrial establishments to close down and all non-essential services are being requested to shut down operations.

235 coronavirus infections have been reported so far mostly from travel abroad while 64 have recovered, 171 are still under treatment and 11 in critical condition.

Extraordinary measures have been put in place to ensure no spread of the virus happens locally including a curfew from 5 pm to 4 am. Thousands of Kuwaitis are being flown in back to the country after being stranded overseas and are quarantined to ensure that they do not spread the infections. While utmost care and precautions are being taken by the government following World Health Organization protocols.
