200 Violators Of Law Including Drug Users Were Arrested
More than 200 violators of law including drug users were arrested during security campaigns that were launched in most parts of Kuwait in the last three days. According to security sources, these campaigns were based on instructions from the Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs at Ministry of Interior Major General Ibrahim Al-Tarrah. During the campaigns, the officers also discovered many vehicles that were reported as stolen. The sources affirmed that these campaigns will continue to be held to arrest violators of law and wanted individuals.
;General Department for Public Relations and Security Media of Ministry of Interior declared that the General Department of Coast Guard will conduct a live-ammunition exercise on April 9-10 from 8am to 2pm in Kuwaiti territorial waters. It warned people against approaching areas close to Qarwa Island and Umm Al- Maradem Island where the exercise will be conducted. The department affirmed that marine patrol officers will prevent civilians from accessing the abovementioned locations with the aim of protecting their lives.
