30 Kuwaitis On Terrorism List Issued By Syrian Regime

Syrian regime has announced a list of 615 people and 105 entities from Arab and foreign countries, including 30 Kuwaitis, suspected to be involved in terror funding, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

According to a press release issued by Syria’s Money Laundering and Terrorism Funding Commission, the list includes the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Khalid Sulaiman Al-Jarallah, several current and former lawmakers, ambassadors and preachers.

The majority of suspects on the lists are Syrians and 67 Saudis- followed by 42 Lebanese in third place, while Kuwaitis occupy the fourth position.

Some of the Kuwaitis on the list are MPs Mohammad Hayef and Nayef Al-Merdas, as well as their two colleagues whose membership of the parliament has been voided by the Constitutional Court- Waleed Al- Tabtabaei and Jam’an Al-Harbash. Former MPs included are Mubarak Al-Wa’alan, Bader Al-Dahoum, Hamad Al-Matar, Nasser Al-Sane, Fahad Al-Khannah and late Falah Al-Sayegh.
