355 People Died In Accidents Over The Past 11 Months In Kuwait

Fatal road accidents have claimed the lives of 355 people over the past eleven months in Kuwait, down from 425 in the same period last year, reported Al Qabas.

According to a report issued by the Information and Statistics Centre, up to 4000 people were injured in the spate of deadly accidents between January and last month. 

Last January was the deadliest as the death toll stood at 47 casualties, compared with 43 deaths in February, 35 in November, 32 in March and 30 in April.  Police inquiries had revealed accidents were essentially due to excessive speed, wrong overtaking jumping traffic lights and other serious violations.
