The total number of people in Kuwait who cleared the quarantine procedure for the coronavirus (COVID-19) reached 564 and a total of 12 people recovered from the global-spreading disease in Kuwait.

In a press conference, the Health Ministry's Spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad affirmed that the new promising data suggested that the measures carried out by Kuwait, in line with World Health Organization, were bearing fruit.

This does not mean that the fight is over, said Dr. Al-Sanad who called on citizens and expatriates alike to continue staying at their homes and follow up on the Health Ministry's directives and updates.

He noted that the number of swipes and tests carried out so far had reached 9,981, adding that there were four patients still in the ICU with one stable case and three others considered to be critical.
