57 Passengers From London And Rome Admitted To Jaber Hospital

57 passengers were transferred yesterday from the 2 flights arriving from London and Rome to the Al Jaber Hospital, Al Rai newspaper reported today. 32 cases were suspected with coronavirus infection out of whom 27 were from London and 5 were from Rome. 14 cases were transferred to the hospitals emergency.

Kuwait has arranged a number of daily flights for its nationals to return from various destinations after being stranded overseas due to the closure of the airport.

The flight from Rome brought back the military cadets who were training in Italy, while the London flight brought back Kuwaiti tourists who were stranded there.

More flights are scheduled to return today from New York and London as part of the evacuation of Kuwaiti nationals.
