A Taxi Driver Was Beaten By Egyptian Expatriate In Salmiya Area

A taxi driver crashed into a wall and damaged his car as he was assaulted by an Egyptian expatriate in Salmiya area in the course of a minor quarrel in Salmiya area. A security source said the Egyptian accompanied by his wife argued over the fare with the taxi driver, and latter threatened to lodge a complaint with the police. The Egyptian became incensed as a result and assaulted the driver. He then lost control and crashed the vehicle into a wall and damaged it. A case was registered.
