An Accountant Left The Country After Embezzling Kd 158,000

The Finance Department of the Ministry of Education and the Criminal Evidences Department for Investigations are pursuing legal action against an accountant working in the Finance Department at the Ministry of Education who is said to have left the country after embezzling KD 158,000, reports Al-Anba daily quoting education sources. The sources said several employees of the ministry’s finance department were summoned for interrogations as a preliminary measure. Meanwhile, the daily added, attempts have been exerted by the concerned authorities to hand over the case to Interpol to extradite the suspect to Kuwait. According to reliable sources the suspect has transferred the Money into the account of his wife.
