An Expat Arrested For Forging Papers To Get Driving License

09 March 2016 Driving License

Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Department have arrested an expatriate for forging academic certificates and selling them to prospective candidates for KD 200 each. A security source said the arrest came after the Criminal Investigations Department received a tip-off about the activity of the suspect who was helping expatriates acquire driving licences.

The CID men then set a trap for the suspect and caught him red-handed while selling a forged certificate to an undercover police agent. Police have seized from the man’s apartment several forged certificates and equipment used in the trade including a computer.
