Asian Dies After He Was Run Over By Vehicle

An Asian expatriate died when he was run over by a vehicle driven by a Kuwaiti citizen in Rawda area. According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about the accident, securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location and referred the victim, who was alive at that time, to Amiri Hospital for treatment. However, he was declared dead on arrival at the hospital. His corpse was referred to the Forensics Department. The Kuwaiti motorist was taken to Rawda Police Station, where, during interrogations, he said he was driving down the road when the victim suddenly crossed the road, and he was unable to stop his car. A case was registered.
