Asian Held With Liquor In Hassawi

An Asian expatriate was arrested in Hassawi area for violating the residency law and possessing 44 bottles of locally manufactured liquor, says Al-Seyassah. According to security sources, when Private Taskforce officers were patrolling Hassawi area at night, they suspected a man opening the trunk of his vehicle and placing some heavy black bags into it. As soon as the man noticed the officers, he tried to run away but he was caught. They checked the bags to discover 44 bottles of locally manufactured liquor. He was arrested and referred with the liquor bottles to the concerned authorities for further investigations.
