Asian Housemaid Attempt Suicide

An unidentified Asian housemaid who tried in vain to end her life by consuming a large dose of pesticide was rushed to the intensive care unit of the Jahra Hospital and given stomach wash, reports Al-Rai daily.

According to the female employer she heard the screams of the woman in the kitchen of the house and she alleged she drank pesticide by mistake. She was rushed to the hospital in critical condition and is expected to be interrogated by the police when her situation stabilizes.

In the meantime, police are refusing to buy her story that she consumed pesticide by mistake. A case of attempted suicide has been registered against her.
