Bedoun Youth And Pakistani Man Were Arrested In Possession Of Hashish

A Bedoun youth and a Pakistani man were arrested in Jahra area in possession of hashish. According to security sources, Jahra securitymen were patrolling the area near a commercial complex when they suspected a vehicle with two occupants parked behind the commercial complex.

They approached the vehicle and checked the details of the two individuals to discover one is a Bedoun while the other is a Pakistani. Noticing their nervousness, securitymen checked them to find hashish pieces on them. When questioned, both suspects confessed to being involved in drug peddling. They were arrested and referred with the hashish to the Drugs Control General Department for investigations. An Egyptian expatriate was arrested in Salmiya area in possession of “Tremadol” pills.
