Consumption Of Gasoline Increases

Official data shows Kuwait’s consumption of petroleum products, especially gasoline, rises year after year despite the increase almost three years ago the prices of gasoline, diesel and kerosene, reports Al-Anba daily.

The data showed a boom in consumption of 95 Octane over the past years by 2.57 billion liters annually compared to consumption of 669.3 million liters, a record high of 285%.

In contrast, 98 Octane gasoline consumptions fell by 48 percent to a record low of 3.2 billion liters in 2015/2016 to 1.66 billion liters in 2017/2018, while gasoline also decreased its consumption from 97.2 million liters to 50.8 million liters a decrease of 48%.
