Chasing Lady On Ferrari

The Criminal Court acquitted two Kuwaiti youths of resisting arrest and consuming the illicit substance ‘Chemical’ after the officers foiled their attempt to catch up with a lady driving a Ferrari whom they were trailing from Surra toward Damascus Street. In their defense, Lawyer Abdullah Al-Elanda faulted the investigation carried out by the Public Prosecution Department. He declared the interception, search and arrest of his clients to be null and void, especially as there was no justification for the officers to take such action. He argued the substance found on his clients was different from what was sent to the Criminal Evidences Department, noting the allegation was a set up. He also said his clients maintained innocence from the beginning to the end.
