Cid Have Arrested 5 People For Robbing A Citizen

Personnel from the Criminal Investigations Department have arrested five people two young women and three Kuwaiti youths for blackmailing and robbing a Kuwaiti man. The daily said following a complaint filed by the victim, police put the building where one of the women lives, under surveillance and arrested her. She then guided police to her accomplices.

Earlier it was reported a 52-yearold retired Kuwaiti had filed a complaint with the Salwa Police Station stating a young woman befriended him via the social media and then reportedly invited him to her place in Salwa. When the man went to the apartment he found another woman with the invitee. A short time later, the three youths entered and asked him to hand over all his money and threatened to stab him and film him naked. They then stole KD 100 from the man and kicked him out of the building.
