Citizen Divorces His Wife For Smoking Heavily

A Kuwaiti man has divorced his wife for smoking heavily, which he alleged had caused the death of their unborn child. The Family Court ruled in favour of the husband, based on the results of a medical inquiry into the death of the foetus. Under the court's verdict, the woman has also been denied her right to receive alimony from her ex-husband.
