Convicted Syrian Businessman To Be Extradited To Kuwait

A Syrian businessman convicted of forgery is to be extradited to Kuwait, Al Qabas newspaper reported.

The UAE security authorities arrested Bachar Kiwan in co-operation with the Kuwait Interpol.

A Kuwait Interpol delegation headed to the UAE to bring him back to Kuwait.

A Kuwait court convicted him of tampering with official documents belonging to a company.

The police will question him on how he managed to leave Kuwait despite being blacklisted and banned from leaving the country.
