Cops Are Looking For An Unidentified Female Beggar
Police are looking for an unidentified man, who was clad in abaya and niqab as he pretended to be a female beggar in Egaila and stole the handbag of a Kuwaiti woman.
The Kuwaiti woman filed a complaint at Riqqa Police Station, narrating that while she was shopping in a commercial complex in Egaila, a ‘female’ beggar approached her and asked for money which ‘she’ needs to undergo treatment. When the complainant gave money, she was surprised because the suspect grabbed her handbag containing KD100 and her mobile phone.
The complainant told police that she ran after the suspect, during which the latter’s abaya fell down and then she discovered the beggar is a man who pretended to be a woman.
