Coronavirus Cases In Mahboula On The Rise, moh Officials Warned Residents To Stay Home
Ministry of Health officials have warned residents of Mahboula area to taken extra precautionary measures and not venture outside unless absolutely necessary. In a video that has gone viral, a ministry of health official appeals to residents of several areas in Kuwait to stay at home as they have not been able to identify the source of some of the new cases that were discovered in the country.
Two days ago one Coronavirus infected person was discovered in Mahboula area having tested positive with COVID 19. The Indian who worked as a technician was living in a camp that housed almost 600 persons and working for a reputed engineering company. It is believed that he had passed on the infection to three others.
The source of the virus is yet to be determined and the ministry is doing everything possible to isolate the infected persons. The five buildings which housed the workers has been quarantined and tests are being conducted to ensure that persons in contact with him are virus free.
Another case of an Indian tailor who tested COVID19 positive was also found to have passed the infection to three other persons while a Bangladeshi in Shuwaikh who tested positive passed the infection to another three.
This spread has alarmed authorities who did not expect the virus to spread locally having undertaken several measures to protect and safeguard the residents.
