Court Acquitted Pakistani Youth Who Accused Of Beating, Insulting And Threatening To Kill His Girlfriend

The Misdemeanor Court acquitted a Pakistani youth who was accused of beating, insulting and threatening to kill his Kuwaiti girlfriend as well as destroying her car after she rejected his marriage proposal. The Public Prosecution had charged the youth of beating the victim and causing injuries, which were indicated in a medical report, as well as destroying her car and threatening to kill her. During the court session, the defense counsel Lawyer Abdulmohsen Al-Qattan said there are no evidences to prove the allegations against his client, and highlighted the contradictions in the statements of the plaintiff and the technical evidences presented in the forensic report. He added that the investigations reveal his client only punctured the tyres of the plaintiff’s car.
