05 June 2017 Crime News

The Criminal Court acquitted two expatriates and several others of stealing 14 sheep from a farm belonging to a citizen in Wafra area. The Public Prosecution accused the two expatriates and others of vandalizing the farm of the plaintiff by cutting the barbed wire around the fence and making away with 14 sheep of the farm owner.

The case file indicated the first suspect sold the sheep to the second suspect at a cheap price, and the latter agreed to buy them knowing they were stolen. Representing the two expatriates, Attorney Esmat Al-Kharbotli argued the investigation was not conducted in a serious manner due to various faults and discrepancies found in the persecution plea. She beseeched the court to acquit her clients of all charges against them.
