Court Adjourned The State Security Case Until July 4 2017

Ninth Circuit at the First Instance Court adjourned the State Security case 24/2012 filed by the Public Prosecution against former MPs Musallam Al-Barrak, Mubarak Al-Wa’alan Salem Al-Namlan and Abbas Al-Shuabi until July 4 to summon witnesses. The Public Prosecution charged Musallam Al-Barrak for disseminating false information to foreign bodies concerning the internal affairs of the country during an interview on France 24 Channel where he claimed that 3,500 Jordanian securitymen in Kuwait were given Kuwaiti Special Forces uniform to curb demonstrations, and marring the country’s reputation. Mubarak Al-Wa’alan, Salem Al-Namlan and Abbas Al-Shuabi were also accused of participating in an unlawful demonstration and declining the orders of police to disperse. The accused deny all accusations.
