Court Has Fined The Director Of Kuwait Ports Authority

The Criminal Court has fined the Director of Kuwait Ports Authority and a media outlet a sum of KD 3,000 each, and referred civil aspect of the case to a special tribunal. The case file indicated Kuwait Logistics Company and two of its subsidiaries sued the Director of Kuwait Ports Authority’s and a media outlet for damages due to statements the director made via the media outlet to tarnish the image of KGL, its subsidiaries and employees.
