Court Has Instructed The Moi And Paci To Lift Transaction Ban On Kuwaitis

The Administrative Section in the First Instance Court has instructed the Ministry of Interior and Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) to lift the transaction ban on citizens accused of involvement in citizenship forgery. Attorney Abdulmuhssen Al- Qattan filed a lawsuit on behalf of a number of citizens accused of forging citizenship. The Public Prosecution had earlier released these citizens who have been acquitted as per the final ruling on their case. The court pointed out that the public institutions involved in the lawsuit were given the opportunity to disprove the claims of the plaintiffs in five sessions but they remained silent. This confirmed the statements of the plaintiffs said and proved that the transaction ban imposed on the plaintiffs was illegal.
