01 March 2017 Crime News

The Court of Appeals upheld the verdict issued by the Court of First Instance which nullified the appraisal results of a female employee of an institution on the basis that the employee had an ongoing dispute with her direct supervisor. The court ordered the institution to pay its employee compensation worth KD 500. Representing the employee was Lawyer Nouha Al-Raees, who sued the administration of the institution where her client worked. She explained that her client and her supervisor have been in a dispute for the past five years from the time the supervisor assumed the position. Since then, her client’s annual appraisals have been dropping to worse.
