Court Of Cassation Rejected The Appeal Sentenced To Prison For Using Bad Words

The Court of Cassation has rejected the appeal made by a journalist against the sentence issued by the Court of Appeals which sentenced him to six months in prison for using words deemed offensive to the late Saudi King Abdullah Abdulaziz Al Saud. The Public Prosecution charged the journalist with conducting hostile acts in a public forum by using his personal Twitter account against a friendly country without the permission of his government, something that could jeopardize relations between the two countries
