Court Sentenced 15 Years Imprisonment For 2 Girls And 2 Bodybuilders For Blackmailing Youth
The Criminal Court issued a ruling in an unprecedented case, sentencing two young female Kuwaitis and two bodybuilding youths to 15 years in jail with hard labor for enticing youths to engage in immoral acts, assaulting, taking photos and blackmailing them.
Details of the case revealed that the young women courted youths who met them in a house or any other place. The duo had an arrangement with two muscled youths to beat the victims, rob them and take pictures to blackmail them if they submit a complaint. The accused confessed at the Public Prosecution to taking pictures and blackmailing a 28-year-old Kuwaiti. One of the accused women affirmed that she lured the victim through social media where she took his photos and video and sent to the bodybuilders based on their prior agreement. The bodybuilders then called the victim and blackmailed him, demanding money, otherwise, the photos and video will be posted on social media.
The bodybuilders affirmed the statement of the two young women, indicating that through such unscrupulous acts they received huge amount of money from the victims after they posted the videos on YouTube which automatically blocks this type of videos. They threatened the victims that they would also post the videos on other social media platforms such as Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat.
