07 June 2017 Crime News

The Misdemeanor Court chaired by Judge Abdullah Al-Othman sentenced an expatriate to two years in prison with hard labor and deportation after serving the term over allegation of breaking into a beauty salon owned by a Kuwaiti woman to steal.

The lawsuit filed by the plaintiff Lawyer Bushra Al-Hindal indicated her client had petitioned the Public Prosecution Department against the defendant. The case was investigated thoroughly to determine if the defendant was the culprit, so he was arrested. He admitted the crime during investigation and confirmed committing similar offenses in the past. Lawyer Al-Hindal made an oral presentation, urging the court to slam the maximum punishment on the defendant and again requested temporary compensation of KD 5001 in favor of her client.
