Family Court Orders Wife To Return Kd 5,000 Dowry

The family Court of Appeal ordered a wife to refund the complete dowry of five thousand dinars paid by her exhusband and forfeited all financial rights associated with divorce after granting request for that purpose. In a lawsuit filed by Lawyer Ali Al-Mousawi on behalf of the exhusband, the lawyer said his client was surprised when his wife escaped from the matrimonial home due to an unusual incident that occurred between them on the night of their wedding. The woman was accused of using her former husband to extort money from the plaintiff. She also refused to participate in the conjugal rite on the wedding night, and demand financial entitlement from divorce using her family.
