Indian Nurse Attacked While On Duty

An Indian nurse was attacked by a Bedoun while she was on duty at the casualty department of the Al-Sabah Hospital. According to local Arabic media report, when the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior received a report on the accident, a police patrol from the Shuwaikh Industrial Area Police Station went to the place and the security men discovered that a non-Kuwaiti youth had assaulted the nurse following an argument with him.

The Bedoun was arrested and taken to the police station and a case of beating an employee on duty has been filed against him.The nurse received four stitches. Earlier last week, another Indian nurse was attacked by a Jordanian at the Maternity Hospital.
