Criminal Court Sentenced An Egyptian To Death For Killing His Lebanese Wife In Hawalli

The Criminal Court chaired by Counselor Muhammad Al-Mutairi sentenced an Egyptian expatriate to death for killing his Lebanese wife in Hawalli.

Criminal Evidences Men are said to have responded to a distress call regarding the incident and referred the body of the victim who apparently succumbed to multiple stab wounds to autopsy for investigation.

Detectives, shortly after the incident, traced the spouse of the deceased lady around their house holding the Holy Qu’ran in one hand and a bottle in the other hand.

He tried in vain to cut his artery with the piece of bottle and sustained injury as a result but securitymen managed to arrest him before he could fulfill the suicide mission. He was referred to the concerned authority and later treated in a hospital.
