Customs Officers Confiscated Large Quantities Of Subsidized Foodstuffs
Customs officers at the Salmi border post have confiscated large quantities of subsidized foodstuffs, including milk powder, oil, rice, tomato paste and others, reports Al- Anba daily.
The daily added, the contraband was found hidden beneath the goods in a truck which was on its way to an unidentified Arab country.
;On the other hand, the Al- Rai daily said a customs source said the officers recently foiled three attempts of two Egyptians and a Jordanian to smuggle subsidized foodstuffs outside the country, reports Al-Rai daily.
