Customs Seize Heroin, Arrest Asian Trafficker

Customs authorities thwarted an attempt to smuggle heroin through Kuwait International Airport. An officer became suspicious of an Asian passenger and frisked him to discover 20 packs of heroin hidden in his clothes. The trafficker was handed over, along with the haul of drugs, to the anti-narcotics directorate for investigation, before being referred to the Public Prosecution to face charges and stand trial.
