Driver Arrested For Consuming And Possessing Alcohol

Customs officers at Al-Nuwaiseeb border checkpoint arrested a Somali driver for consuming and possessing alcohol, reports Al-Rai daily. Reportedly, the suspect, who was high on alcohol, had lost his way and entered the checkpoint at 5:30 am. Two bottles of locally manufactured liquor were seized from his possession. He was arrested and referred to the relevant authorities.
