Expats Online Residence Renewal In Private Sector Begins From 1st March
The Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Residence Affairs Major General Talal Marafi announced the renewal of the residency of expats in the private sector for Article (18) will start online on Sunday 1/3/2020 reports Al Qabas.
Marafi said that this new service comes as a atomization of services provided by the security establishment, and after the success of the project of renewing residency visas for domestic workers and those similar in accordance with Article (20) through online.
He pointed out that a seminar will be conducted in the General Administration of Residency Affairs starting on Sunday 23/2/2020 to receive the requests of companies and commercial establishments, and explain how to renew the residence Article (18) online.
He further stated that representatives of companies who hold legal status, or who have official status, must bring the application form from the company or commercial establishment and its email, or the email authorized to use the operating system.
Marafie praised the great efforts made by the Public Authority for Manpower, the Ministry of Health, the Public Authority for Civil Information and the Information and Communications Technology Sector at the Ministry of Interior to make the project a success, stressing the continuation of cooperation between the security establishment and all state agencies to complete the mechanization of residence affairs services.
He pointed out that in the coming period a renewal service will be launched for holders of residency in the government sector, Article (17) electronically, and linking the General Administration of Residency Affairs with all ministries and government agencies.
Marafi called on citizens and residents to take advantage of the website of the Ministry of Interior www.moi.gov.kw provided by the General Administration of Residency Affairs and all security sectors to save time and effort which will help to complete the procedures with speed.
