Fake Prince Arrested

A Bedouin has been detained by police officers in Kuwait after he claimed to be a prince from a GCC state and used the fake title to scam people. The defendant was put under surveillance by security after they received information of his deception. Authorities said the suspect had spent an alarming time in the lobby of a hotel as he was finalising what is believed to be a business transaction with a Syrian national

He was reportedly detained by security, who found fake seals and business cards in his possession, after leaving the hotel. The defendant admitted to the crime and was then handed over to police for investigation. He told investigators that he used the fake identity to convince others to hand him money.
