Female Workers At Pifss Harassed

The Public Institute for Social Security (PIFSS) has issued a statement denouncing what it called an attempt by some people to disrupt work by causing chaos and threatening the employees at one of its branches in Al-Zahra, South Surrah, reports Al-Anba daily.

The daily quoting sources said, this happened although the employees try their best to work to the satisfaction of everyone in line with the law and said the institute is also keen to protect the legal right and resort to the competent authorities to protect its employees and safeguard their dignity and safety.

The employees said this happened although they did their best to complete the transactions and accused some of ‘disobedience’ and three of the females employees insisted that they were insulted and humiliated by three people. The daily said, the suspects were caught and have been referred to the Zahra Police Station.

According to a security source, the Operations Rook of the Interior Ministry received a report about an altercation on the premises and a patrol was sent immediately to deal with the situation. The source added an investigation has been opened into the incident.
