Filipino Domestic Helper Was Allegedly Beaten By Her Female Kuwaiti Sponsor

A Filipino domestic helper has sought the help of her embassy after she was allegedly beaten by her female Kuwaiti sponsor, reports Al-Rai daily.

The daily added, according to the victim she was involved in an argument with her sponsor concerning issues related to her duty and the latter assaulted her following which she escaped from the house, took a taxi and took shelter in the embassy of her country.

The embassy officials took the victim to a hospital and got a medical report showing injuries on her body. The sponsor shall be summoned for interrogation.
